Is my personal and credit card information safe?
Yes. All information provided by the customer to process an order or to communicate in the event of a question or problem concerning your order is strictly confidential. We use the latest secure socket layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt all sensitive credit card and personal information. We have security measures in place that protect the loss, misuse or alteration of the information that is under our control. Physical security measures include a firewall to protect unauthorized access to our database servers. Access behind the firewall is controlled via passwords. Passwords are stored in one-way encrypted format and are never decrypted.
Can I place an order over the phone?
Yes. You can place orders Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST by calling 800-879-2473 ext. 305.
Can I mail in an order?
Yes. Please print the order form and make sure you include: Item number, full item name, color, quantity, and any other applicable options along with your shipping address. Please make checks payable to Bird Watchers Digest and ensure you include the applicable shipping charges (see table below). Please remember individual titles of the Backyard Booklet Series and Collector's Prints prices include shipping. Please make sure to provide a phone number or e-mail address so that we can contact you if we have any questions.

How can I get rush shipping?
Have to get it there quickly? Rush shipping is available! We offer 3-day, 2-day, and overnight service starting at an additional $10.00 fee. Rush shipping charges are added to the standard shipping listed and are based on the total shipment weight including packaging. Please call BWD at 800-879-2473 for all rush shipping orders.
Can I fax my order?
Yes. Please print the order form (available below) and make sure you include: Item number, full item name, color, quantity, and any other applicable options along with your shipping address. Fax your order form to (740) 373-8443. Please note payment method must be credit card. Please make sure to provide a phone number or e-mail address so that we can contact you if we have any questions.
Can I pay for an order and have it shipped to a different address?
Yes. When you complete your purchase you can choose where you want the package delivered.
How and when is my order shipped?
Your order should ship in 5-7 business days, with the exception of matted and/or framed prints that ship in approximately 14 business days. Please note your order may arrive in separate boxes to ensure that merchandise arrives undamaged. This will NOT increase your shipping charges.

Can I make special shipping arrangements?
Yes. We can accommodate most shipping requests for orders placed over the phone. For orders with special shipping arrangements, please call 800-879-2473 ext. 305 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
How do I use my coupon or gift certificate?
At the check out you will see a box where you can enter your coupon or gift certificate. The total purchase price will be recalculated based on the value of the coupon or gift certificate.
Can I speak to a live person?

Can I buy a gift certificate?
Yes. Click on "Gift Certificates" on the left hand navigation of the store. You can select from four different dollar values. You can also choose the gift card you would like to have sent to the recipient. You may customize a message to be printed inside the card by entering text into the "Comments about my order" box of the check out. We will send your gift card by First Class US Mail within three business days of receiving your order.
Gift certificates are not redeemable or refundable for cash and are non-transferable. If an order exceeds the value of the gift certificate, the person redeeming the certificate is responsible for paying the balance. Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase additional gift certificates or magazine subscriptions. We have the right to refuse gift certificates if they prove to be fraudulent. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions.
How do I return a product?
Within 30 days of receipt you may return most items purchased in our store for a full product refund. Please note S&H is non-refundable unless the product was damaged or the wrong product was sent to you. We will also pay the return shipping if the error was ours.
If the item you are returning was a gift, please enclose the name and e-mail address of the person who sent you the gift.
Packing and Sending Your Return:
