I bought this as a Christmas gift. My husband loves this book--reflections and drawings. It is lovely. Since he has met the author, it means even more.

Wonderful book with exquisite illustrations. I've always enjoyed her stories in BWD and this was like the cherry on top.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Letters From Eden. Julie shares her knowledge and especially her joy of birds, the whole outdoors and her family. Letters From Eden and The Bluebird Effect have reminded me to really look around, learn from my surroundings, and have a good time! Thank you.

My 4 star rating for Julie's book is only because I, personally felt it couldn't TOP her Bluebird book! Julie you are a fantastic artist and great story teller. Yes, I completely enjoyed Letters From Eden but, as I said, not as much as your Bluebird book. PLEASE, PLEASE write and illustrate at least 700 more books or perhaps one or 2 in the very near future.
