Famed for his field guides, that revolutionized interest in nature around the world, he strongly promoted nature education. Peterson's legacy lives on within the institution that bears his name, The Roger Tory Peterson Institute, in Jamestown, New York. The institute promotes the study and teaching of natural history through a variety of programs and publications aimed at teachers and young people.
A limited edition of 500 prints has been created in a horizontal format. The actual image size is 16" x 10", the matted size is 20" x 14", and the framed sized is approximately 22" x 16". Each print is signed and numbered by the artist. The full-color reproduction is printed on a neutral pH, acid-free paper.
