Shipping & Returns

Rush Shipping

Have to get it there quickly? Rush shipping is available! We offer 3-day, 2-day, and overnight service starting at an additional $10.00 fee. Rush shipping charges are added to the standard shipping listed and are based on the total shipment weight including packaging. Please call BWD at 800-879-2473 for all rush shipping orders.

General Shipping Information

Outside the holiday season, the following shipping rates apply:

Your order should ship in 5-7 business days, with the exception of matted and/or framed prints. Please note your order may arrive in separate boxes to ensure that merchandise arrives undamaged. This will NOT increase your shipping charges.

Returns

You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by [Bird Watcher's Digest] within 30 days for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 days). We'll notify you via email of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Packing and Sending Your Return:

  1. Pack the items along with the packing slip (invoice) securely in a box. Your order/invoice number MUST be included with the return to get your refund.
  2. Mail the package to:

We recommend that you use a shipper with delivery confirmation to ensure you package is received and your refund processed.

Refunds

Refunds will be made via your original payment method. Credit card refunds will be made within 10 business days of receiving and approving your return. You will see this credit on your credit card statement. Checks will be mailed to the billing address on the original order.

We can only refund shipping cost if the return is a result of our error or if the product was received damaged.
