I read Alan Belford’s article about birding in the Adirondacks in your M/A issue. I would like to know what is the best time to see spring migrants in the area — Lake Saranac etc. He doesn’t mention this in the article and I am thinking of visiting next spring. Thanks for your help.

Tony: Just found this inquiry. Apologies. Best time to visit is May and June, as breeding season kicks off and before the black flies get bad.
