Team Notes

Participants: Cecilia Riley, Mike Gray, Felipe Chavez, Janice Waldron, Tony Leukering, Warren Pruess, Stephen Lorenz, David Plunkett, Mike Williams, Ron Weeks, Tad Finnell, Sue Heath, Tony Frank, Phyliss Frank

Weather: HOT and MUGGY! Wind out of the SE @20 all day. High of 89F

Location: Quintana Neotropic Sanctuary, Quintana Texas

Time At Location: 8.5 hours

Notes:
Even the morning started out hot and the strong SE wind persisted all day. This really kept the migrants away and the seabirds too far offshore to see.

Anecdotes:
Despite the non-birdy conditions, the members of the Brazosport Birders club had a great time visiting and sharing snacks. We even got a little trail cleaning done since there were so few birds to count!
