Team Notes

Participants: Leslie Peed, Tom Reeve, Sarah Boica Neto, Dan Luning, Andrew Leidig, Mike Defina, Carol Kuniholm

Weather: clear, very windy, 60s

Location: berm on the pond at Exton Park

Time At Location: 6:45 am to 6:30 pm

Lots of hawks flying over, north to south. Plenty of geese. Clouds of starlings, grackles, red-winged blackbirds. Two days of rain just before left the pond level high, which meant no shorebirds, except the blue heron and the killdeer which flew by looking for a place to feed. And the wind was too strong for most of the smaller birds that are normally in that location. But we enjoyed ourselves. It was our first Big Sit in this location.
