Team Notes

Participants: Tom Heatley, Jim Fowler, Paul Pronto, Kevin Rysiewski, Barb Baldinger, Ed Lewandowski, Dick and Marge Oelsner, Frank and Marilyn Dennis, Wayne Hoch, Ruth Glass and Rob Bauer.

Weather: Cloudy in the morning, sunny and mild the rest of the day.

Location: The circle is located on a slight hill overlooking Point Rosa Marsh at Lake St. Clair Metropark.

Time At Location: 6:45 am to 7:30 pm

We were lucky to see a Peregrine Falcon chase a Cooper's Hawk for several minutes, before each went their separate way.

We added one species to the count circle, bringing the total for all years to 137 species. The highest year ever was 68 species. The birding was slow, but we ate well and all had a good time!
