Team Notes

Participants: I was joined by over 20 members of the Ocean State Bird Club

Weather: Mid to high 40s at 6am, warming to mid-60s. Clear skies

Location: Beavertail State Park, Jamestown RI

Time At Location: 6am - 3pm

We had an excellent morning flight and an almost constant stream of accipiters! There was also a fairly consistent flight of Monarchs and other butterflies such as Clouded and Orange Sulphurs and Red Admirals. The biggest surprise of the day was a pod of about 40 Atlantic White-sided Dolphins!
