Team Notes

Participants: Jay Kaplan and Brian Kleinman

Weather: Lousy. Rain begins at 7 AM and continued thru the day

Location: Hartford Audubon Society Platform at Station 43 Marsh

Time At Location: 6 AM - 9 AM at which point we retired.

The weather forecast at 5 AM was for an isolated shower then clearing by mid-day. The forecast changed at some point because a drizzle became a steady rain and all movement ceased.

Only observation of note was 8 Great Egrets flying north across the marsh, perhaps to join the 20 that were reported just over the CT/MA state line. We are usually lucky to record a single egret on our Big Sit!
