Weather: 37 degree start, 59 degree finish temperature. Foggy in the AM, with little to no wind.

Location: Bald Eagle State Park, Sayers Dam- Howard, PA

Time At Location: 4:50AM- 1:10PM

Notes:
This is our 3rd year at Sayers Dam and 4th overall Big Sit experience. We had bird activity throughout the day with the first bird of the day being a juvenile Great Horned Owl calling within feet of our circle. Another highlight of the day was watching an adult Bald Eagle land at the edge of the water and take a bath which was extremely breath-taking. We counted 18 migrating Monarch Butterflies.
