Team Notes

Participants: 26

Weather: Clear. Wind calm in AM. Climbing to 10-15mph in mid-afternoon, then calm again in evening. Temp 39 at sunrise High of 68

Location: Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area, Linton Indiana

Time At Location: 7:00AM to 7:00PM

Notes:
We had 26 participants show up throughout some part of the day. We had lots of good food. Was overall a very good day.

Anecdotes:
The pair of Plegadis Ibis were by far the best birds of the day. They were intermittently viewable throughout the day. We had several flocks of Greater White-fronted Geese fly over throughout the day. One group in particular stood out because they were being harassed by a single Peregrine. Nearly every flock of GWFG were flyovers. The Peregrine forced this group of about 15 GWFG to the ground.
