Team Notes

Participants: Chris Bennett, Rodney Murray

Weather: AM - partly cloudy, 53F, light NW winds, overcast by noon with rain after 2pm, High 66F at 1pm

Location: Little Creek Wildlife Area main tract observation platform

Time At Location: 0551 - 1500 - 8 hrs 51 min

Songbird diversity was rather disappointing and disappointing to cut the count short due to light to moderate rain setting in 2-23 hours before our planned end time. Missed a few birds that should have been guarantees - like Golden-crowned Kinglet, Gray Catbird and at least a few other warblers. We set a baseline that we can aim to surpass in 2020!
